Je vous propose un vol en autogire. C'est un appareil semblable à un petit hélicoptère à cabine vitrée qui offre une vue panoramique. Son rotor est activé par le vent venant de face et il est propulsé par une hélice dorsale. Sa vitesse de croisière se situe entre 50km/h et 180km/h. Il décolle comme un avion et se pose sur de toutes petites distances. A bord on ressent moins les turbulences que dans un avion. Il est équipé de ceintures de sécurité 4 points, et de casques radio à réduction de bruit. Le pilote et le passager sont l'un derrière l'autre. Si la météo est bonne, je vous propose d'effectuer avec moi un survol panoramique des plages du Débarquement à partir du terrain ULM de Courseulles sur Mer. Le vol de 45mn partira vers l'Ouest pour survoler la côte, passera au dessus du port artificiel d'Arromanches, des batteries de Longues, de Port en Bessin, et fera demi-tour à la pointe du Hoc. Le retour s'effectuera par l'intérieur des terres en survolant la ville de Bayeux, le château de Creully et celui de Fontaine-Henri. Your experience throwing on your own Japanese Shimpo wheel will be fun and informal yet informative and productive. You're definitely going to throw your own bowls. We start by familiarising you with our Pottery studio, the wheels equipment and tools we will use during your experience. Then it's straight onto the wheel where you learn to centre the clay, and throw a pot. Once you have your pot formed we'll clean it up a bit and lift your creation from the wheel to dry. Then we'll do it again. You will be shown how to throw 4 shapes in the time NOTE PLEASE: No children under the age of 12 yrs old, this is an adult experience and not catering for children Please be aware there is a small extra cost if you decide to keep your pots, this is for the bisque kiln firing and seashell and granite glazing(see photos) and you can decide either way on the day if you want to keep your them (or not) and how many (Postage & Packing is included in the additional cost.). au départ du domaine de l'Atlas, je vous propose des balades à cheval, randonnées à cheval pour découvrir les routes Normandes dans les terres et/ou jusqu'à la mer. Vous pouvez choisir de découvrir une campagne verdoyante grâce à des chevaux préparés et entrainés avec soin. Ils vous emmèneront volontiers galoper sur la plage si vous êtes cavaliers confirmés et réguliers avec un niveau galop 5 exigé, en fonction des marées, la plage n'est praticable pour les chevaux qu'après 19h accessible au coucher du soleil ou explorer les chemins de la campagne Normande, pour ensuite rentrer jusqu'au domaine. A riff on our popular pottery taster workshop, this 2 hour experience is your alternative Friday night. Our signature evening session is great for everyone but designed to be super social - so gather your crew, come for date night, or come alone and meet some new folk. Expect prosecco and beers on ice and the music turned up! (non-alcoholic bevs supplied on request too of course) This short, relaxed and easy-going workshop is designed to inspire you to create your own ceramic homeware pieces - from serving bowls to coffee mugs, trinket dishes or candle holders. Clay can be unpredictable, and this session is about embracing possibility, enjoying the process, the imperfection, and not worrying too much (or at all) if your makes aren’t quite matching your inspo pics. Our tutors will work with you to take your reference images and ideas and translate them into something deliverable within the timeframe. We’re happy for you to play and work towards whatever shapes you like - and our tutors are committed to supporting your vision no matter how big! However they are also expert at helping you refine a big plan into something manageable so that you have something tangible to take away. At the end of the session your piece will be sitting pretty on our drying rack, and if you want to keep it, we’ll get it fired for you just as soon as it’s kiln-ready.

Discover the medieval capital of the Kingdom of England with a PhD medieval historian. Dr Lillian Cespedes Gonzalez, local to Winchester, studied medieval history in this city as well so you will get insider and history knowledge all at the same time. Learn about King Alfred the Great, King Arthur and the Round Table, as well as empowering female locals such as Licoricia of Winchester. We will also walk by Winchester Cathedral, Winchester College and the Barracks. Depending on the day of the week, we will have a chance to enjoy the local market with its fresh produce and artisan stalls.

Discover the landing beaches in small or private groups, up to 8 people. I will tell you why the Allies decided to land in Normandy and why on June 6th. Visit the major spots in the American sectors of the Utah and Omaha beaches (Sainte Mère Eglise, American cemetery, Pointe du Hoc), the British sector of Gold Beach (Arromanches artificial harbour, Pegasus bridge), or the Canadian sector ofJuno beach, (Juno center, Canadian cemetery). I will guide you personally in the Airborne museum and in the cemeteries where we will take time for understanding and meditation. You will learn how difficult the landing was in Omaha. I will also show you my secret favourite places, off the beaten track. I will tell you stories of locals I interviewed, including those of my dad. I will also be glad to drive and guide you at Mont Saint Michel, and let you discover the great medieval city of Bayeux, my native town. Our sea kayaking adventure in Studland bay is something pretty special. It marks the beginning of the Jurassic Coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage sight which also happens to be an iconic landmark Old Harry Rocks, that is filled to the brim in myth, magic and legend, with the tales of pirates and smugglers contributing to the history of our home which we happily share along the way. Old Harry Rocks is a beautiful and iconic sea kayaking destination, and the best way to explore this iconic landmark is from a sea Kayak, our hut on the shores of Middle beach is just a short paddle away. After an inital safety briefing you will join us and jump aboard the kayaks to explore Studland bay in Dorset before heading out to Old Harry Rocks. From here, you will be guided you to explore the sea caves, arches and stacks of this iconic landmark by kayak. We will have frequent stops to discuss this area of outstanding natural beauty and there will ample opportunity to learn about the eco system and geology along the way. These trips are run using double sit on top kayaks so you will be sharing a kayak. If you are booking an uneven group number we have some single kayaks for this situation, if you want a single kayak please contact us and we can discuss this with you. Min age 12+. The Cider Farm Tour and Tasting begins in the Tasting Room with a sample of excellent organic apple juice, and an introduction to the Cider Farm family. We venture into the orchard of 3000 West Country cider apples. You discover some of the fascinating history and folklore behind cider and experience a surprise 'Wassail' or orchard blessing. Bees are important to us and we tell about their role in pollination, chemical free farming and wildlife. I explain how we craft our British Champion Ciders over 8 months from sun ripened apple to crisp, golden nectar in a glass. With a behind the scenes tour of apple pressing, harvesting and bottling equipment, you can see how see we press the apples and produce the ciders. We encourage guests to ask us questions about the art of blending and the alchemy of turning apple into award winning, amber-gold cider. The Tour is completed with a sampling of 4 delicious, handcrafted ciders, all made from organically grown cider apples, from Sweet Maiden cider, Old Harry Rocks vintage, Dorset Wild Cat, to our Elderflower, Ginger or Damson ciders. After the tour, you can relax in the Cider Garden, admire the art. Please dress according to the weather with appropriate footwear and coat, as we take you for a walking tour of our orchards.

Join us for a leisurely stroll along the Jurassic Coast with our friendly and lovable Alpacas, there are plenty of breathtaking photo opportunities of the stunning coastline. Group bookings are available for parties of 10 or more people. (20 people or more would be based on people sharing an Alpaca) Please message for details. If you cannot make the walk at 2PM we can also offer a morning walk ( please message for details). Please arrive 10 minutes before your walk, if you are going to be late, please phone and let us know, we will try and wait for you, but we are unable to wait more than 5 minutes.
